About Château Haut-Bailly

In 1530, the Goyanèche family and later the Daitze family bought and brought together the best vineyards to begin forming Château Haut-Bailly, an estate located on the gentle slopes of the extraordinary Bordeaux region of Graves (France), where the plots were recognised as being excellent for vine cultivation as early as 1461.
 
Here, on these special ridges with sandy and gravelly soils, Château Haut-Bailly is born, a red wine that comes from vines grown in vineyards where remains of petrified fossil shells and rare minerals can be found, and which has been recognised as one of the most elegant wines in the world. 
 
Châtau Haut-Bailly is a world-class winemaking house. This château is keen to build a better future for viticulture. In their new winery, tradition and modernity go hand in hand to give shape to great quality wines, because for Haut-Bailly “every vintage is a work of art”.

2022 Château Haut-Bailly 2022 is a wine that will captivate you with its aromatic intensity and its structured palate. Initially, dark berries, iris, lilac, rose petals, graphite, and licorice appear. Tremendously complex! On the palate, it is deep, with powdery tannins. The finish is persistent and penetrating, with hints of salinity. Very tight.
