About Albamar Sesenta e Nove Arrobas

Albamar Sesenta e Nove Arrobas is a white wine from the DO Rias Baixas produced by the Albamar winery. This is a single-varietal Albariño.

The Atlantic influence, mild average temperatures, along with the presence of mountains that mitigate the harshness of the winds and abundant rainfall, result in the Rias Baixas climate producing highly distinctive Atlantic wines.

The grapes for this Albamar Sesenta e Nove Arrobas are harvested from four plots, which predominantly feature granitic soils. The vinification and production processes adhere to traditional methods, utilising the winery's years of expertise in particular and the wine region in general.

The wine is bottled after resting for fifteen months on its lees in stainless steel tanks. Before being marketed, Albamar Sesenta e Nove Arrobas undergoes further refinement in the bottle.

When one thinks of Albamar, one inevitably thinks of their Albariños, which are the house's specialty. The winery boasts a quarter of a century of history and is renowned for its friendly and approachable service, as well as its familial spirit.
