About Dominio del Bendito Las Sabias

Dominio del Bendito Las Sabias is a red wine produced in the D.O. Toro, produced by Dominio del Bendito in the municipality of Toro, Zamora.

Dominio del Bendito is a project started by Antony Terry in 2004. Searching for the perfect location to make wines that showed the soul of the region, he decided to stay in Toro. Currently, the cultivates 14.5 hectares in this area, using organic methods and making wines in the most traditional and natural way possible.

Dominio del Bendito Las Sabias is a wine made from Tinta de Toro from a vineyard that is over 45 years old called Páramo de la Jara. It is located at 700 metres of altitude, planted on sandy soils with boulders.

Grapes are harvested by hand and selected in the winery. They ferment in stainless steel and concrete deposits with epoxy resin. Aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels.

Dominio del Bendito Las Sabias is a strong, round and fruit-laden wine. A greater presence of the fruit marks the personality of this new style of Toro wines.
