About Coto de Hayas Crianza

Coto de Hayas Crianza is a red wine from Campos de Borja, produced by Bodegas Aragonesas. This winery is located in Fuendelajón (Zaragoza).

Coto de Hayas Crianza is made from the Garnacha and Tempranillo. The grapes come from old vines between 20 and 30 years old.

The development of Coto de Hayas Crianza begins with a harvest during the second week of September. Once in the winery, the must ferments at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. Subsequently a maceration lasting 15 days is performed.

After the maceration one fermentation of each variety is performed separately.

Finally this red wine is aged for nine months in French oak barrels, which finishes with a few more months of bottle aging.
