Château Calon Ségur 2025 is a red wine that opens with intense, ripe fruit, where plums, cassis, and cherries intertwine with vanilla, cinnamon, and a delicate floral background that adds elegance. On the palate, it enters with precision, almost in a straight line, leaving a chalky creaminess that envelops the blueberry fruit with a fine and vibrant sheen. It does not seek breadth, but definition: each nuance appears in its place, as if carefully arranged. The tannins are polished, with an almost chewy texture, and the ensemble progresses with restrained freshness. The finish leaves a subtle echo of liquorice, clean, long, and with that sense of impeccable craftsmanship that invites one to linger a moment longer with the glass.
