Briego Tiempo Crianza is a red wine from the D.O Ribera del Duero produced by Bodegas Briego. This wine is a monovarietal of Tempranillo.

The grape for Briego Tiempo Crianza is born and grows in the vineyards of La Solana, which are owned by the winery.

Briego Tiempo Crianza is produced using traditional winemaking methods.

After all the work undertaken in the winery, Briego Tiempo Crianza is aged in American and French oak for 14 months.
Briego Tiempo Crianza rests for 14 additionally months before being sold on the market.

Bodegas Briego is a project set up by brothers, Benito Hernando-Gaspar. It is located in Fompedrazza, Valladolid, one of the traditional winemaking town of the D.O Ribera del Duero.

2012 Flavoursome and persistent. Fine, full-bodied and very fruity.

Cherry red with russet red tones. Clean and bright.

Touches of ripened black fruit and toasted notes from the barrel. Balsamic undertones. Intense and full-flavour aromas.
2011 On the palate it is velvety and thin whilst offering an endless number of mature, fruity sensations with patisserie and jam-like elements.

Cherry red in colour: deep and bright.

On the nose there are ripe red fruit flavours such as blackberries, strawberries, cherries, raspberries etc. Mild and delicate tones of tobacco, caramel and eucalyptus that accompany a complex number of spices provided by hardwoods; cinnamon, vanilla, cumin etc. All of qualities provide the wine with expression and complexity.
