Tenuta Sant'Antonio Monti Garbi Ripasso is a red wine coupage of the Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone and Croatina varieties made by Tenuta Sant'Antonio in the DOC Valpolicella Ripasso in the Veneto region, Italy.

The grapes used to make the Tenuta Sant'Antonio Ripasso Monti Garbi wine come from vineyards planted in sandy, loamy soils with a white calcareous skeleton lying 300 metres above sea level.

The vines have an average age of 20 years old and they are harvested manually, in boxes. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and with selected organic yeasts used to make Amarone.

The resulting young wine is re-fermented with the Amarone skins and spontaneously undergoes malolactic fermentation in 500-litre barrels. Batonnage takes place once a month until October of the year following the harvest. The wine ages for 12 months in 500-litre oak barrels, 30% of which are new and the rest are being used for the second year.

The Tenuta Sant'Antonio vineyards are located in the Garbi Mountains, a rugged and inaccessible terrain that is nevertheless very high-quality, producing great wines like this splendid combination of a young Valpolicella and Amarone skins.
