Sybille Kuntz Kabinett Trocken is a biodynamic white wine aged on lees and made with the Riesling variety by the Sybille Kuntz winery in the German denomination of DDP Mosel-Saar-Ruwer (Moselle).
Sybille Kuntz is a winemaker in the Moselle region who uses organic and biodynamic cultivation and winemaking practices, and has truly mastered the Riesling variety. A refined and dry style in a portfolio of very high quality wines that have earned international recognition.
Sybille Kuntz Kabinett Trocken comes from old vines grown on the steep slopes of the Pauls Valley on the Moselle River. They are 50-year-old vines planted in blue slate soils and a limited yield of one bottle per vine. The team uses certified organic and biodynamic agriculture. The harvest is carried out manually and placed in small boxes.
Sybille Kuntz Kabinett Trocken grapes ferment with their skins for 1-2 hours in closed tanks. After 12 hours resting, the must is transferred to stainless steel tanks to ferment with native yeasts at a temperature of 16ºC-18ºC for 6-8 weeks. It is bottled without refining or filtering.
Sybille Kuntz Kabinett Trocken is the basic wine in the category certified by the German law “Qualitätswein mit Prädikat”. A top quality dry, aromatic and elegant Riesling.
