Olek Bondonio Barbaresco Roncagliette is a wood-aged red wine made with the Nebbiolo variety by Olek Bondonio in the DOCG Barbaresco, in Piedmont (Italy).
After working both abroad and in the Langhe itself, Olek Bondonio returned home to cultivate the family vineyards that have over 200 years of history behind them. Situated among one of Barbaresco’s most famous crus, in Piedmont, he goes out of his way to make sure that every wine speaks of this wonderful place.
Olek Bondonio Barbaresco Roncagliette comes from old vines aged over 50 years old and planted in firm soils of clay and limestone. They are cultivated using environmentally friendly agriculture. This is a small plot that is fully exposed to the south, where the Nebbiolo variety grows with power and delicacy.
After the harvest, the Olek Bondonio Barbaresco Roncagliette grapes are macerated with skins for 2 months before being pressed. The must ferments at a controlled temperature in old botti and is left to age for 24 months.
Olek Bondonio Barbaresco Roncagliette is an opportunity to enjoy one of the best Barbaresco crus. A unique red wine that beautifully expresses the Nebbiolo variety.
