Hajszan Neumann Ried Gollin Nussberg Weissburgunder is an organic, single-variety Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) white wine produced by the Weingut Hajszan Neumann winery in the Weinland Österreich denomination in Vienna, Austria.
The Hajszan Neumann Ried Gollin Nussberg Weissburgunder wine is made from clusters that come from Ried Gollin, a vineyard in Nussberg with soils composed of limestone and clays and cultivated according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. The clusters are harvested manually and when the grapes reach the winery, they macerate for around six hours. They are then gently pressed and the resulting must ferments with native yeasts in large oak barrels. The wine is bottled without clarifying or filtering.
At Weingut Hajszan Neumann they are highly committed to quality, which is why they have been working their vineyards according to biodynamic principles since 2006. In the vineyard, they encourage biodiversity and only use natural preparations that will not harm the environment. This has led to resistant soils and healthy grapes that are used to make original and characterful white wines that are some of Austria's most sought after.
