Finca La Colina Verdejo Cien x Cien is a young white wine made by Vinos Sanz with the Verdejo variety in the D.O. Rueda, in Castilla y León (Spain).
Founded in 1870, Vinos Sanz is the oldest winery in the Rueda Denomination of Origin with five generations of history. Located in the municipality of La Seca, in Valladolid, near the Duero River, they have 100 hectares of Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Viura and Tempranillo vineyards and their wine range boasts a comprehensive list of international awards.
Finca La Colina Verdejo Cien x Cien comes from old vines selected from the Finca de La Colina, the most unique vineyard owned by Sanz wines. A rigorous dry land that is home to one of the oldest Verdejo vineyards in the D.O. Rueda which has pebble soils that are poor in organic matter.
In the winery, the entire production process is tightly controlled, from the collection of the raw material to the bottling process. To do this, the grapes selected to make Finca La Colina Verdejo Cien x Cien are gently pressed and the resulting must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Finca La Colina Verdejo Cien x Cien is a single-variety Verdejo that is full of nuances. A sensory explosion and the perfect introduction to the D.O. Rueda.
