Castello dei Rampolla is a winery located in a castle in the famous "Conca d'Oro" of Panzano. It has been owned by the Di Napoli family for centuries, although they did not start making their own wines until 1975. The estates have been cultivated biodynamically since 1994 and receive advice on their winemaking from the famous oenologist Giacomo Tachis

Castello dei Rampolla d'Alceo is vinified in cement tanks in which it remains for 3 months. It then goes for refining in low and medium toasted barrels with a capacity of some 500 litres for a period of 12 to 15 months. 10% -15% of the barrels are renewed annually. Lastly, the wine is bottled and spends about 18-24 months therein before going on the market.

Castello dei Rampolla d'Alceo is a red wine with intense aromas. It is concentrated on the palate but without being heavy due to its fresh acidity.
