Aldo Viola Egesta is a natural white wine made with the native Grillo variety produced by the Aldo Viola winery in the IGT Terre Siciliane (Sicily).
Aldo Viola cultivate their 16 hectares of organic vineyards following natural principles and with a single objective: to grow top quality grapes. This is why, year after year, they go through a rigorous selection process that only allows a small production of 10,000 bottles. Natural wines with a strong territorial identity from the northwest coast of Sicily.
With the aim of working in harmony with nature, Aldo Viola Egesta comes from fertile soils cultivated using biological techniques. No synthetic chemicals are used and they follow biodynamic principles to achieve maximum territorial identity. The grapes are harvested by hand.
Aldo Viola Egesta is naturally vinified through spontaneous fermentation and maceration in whole clusters in stainless steel tanks for six months. It is then bottled unfiltered and without added sulphur dioxide.
Aldo Viola Egesta is a natural white wine which, thanks to the traditional winemaking methods used, is the authentic juice from the native Grillo variety.
