About Ceretto Barbaresco Bricco Asili
Ceretto Barbaresco Bricco Asili is an ecological, barrel-aged red wine from the prestigious DOCG Barbaresco (Piedmont) and made by the Ceretto Italian winery with the native Nebbiolo variety.
Ceretto is a renowned winery founded in 1937 by Alessandro Ceretto in the Piedmont region. With a wide variety of vineyards and wineries scattered throughout the Le Langhe area, they have an extensive range of wines from various denominations in the region like Barbaresco, Barolo and Barbera d’Alba, among others. All of their vineyards are ecologically certified and their wines are a sample of a world-renowned terroir.
Ceretto Barbaresco Bricco Asili comes from a one hectare plot where the vines lie on the slope of a hill at altitudes ranging from 290 to 200 metres above sea level. Organic farming is used and the vines are treated in line with biodynamic principles. The harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness.
When the Ceretto Barbaresco Bricco Asili grapes reach the winery, they ferment in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. Then the wine ages in medium and large barrels over 24 months. Finally, it rests in the bottle for a while before being released for sale.
Ceretto Barbaresco Bricco Asili is a wine where aromatic delicacy combines with the strength of the Nebbiolo tannins. A red wine with pure Barbaresco pedigree.

2014 | Ceretto Barbaresco Bricco Asili 2014 is a concentrated red wine with intense ripe fruit aromas, wild floral notes and spicy sweet touches of liquorice. On the palate it is complex, warm and very elegant. A perfectly structured wine, with dense tannins and harmonious acidity. The finish is lingering and pleasant. A wine with very good development in the bottle over a long time. |
