Valtravieso VT Vendimia Seleccionada

Valtravieso VT Vendimia Seleccionada is a Ribera de Duero red wine that is created from a coupage of the three varieties that the Bodega Valtravieso winery produces on its "La Revilla" estate: Tinto Fino, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Valtravieso is a winery located in the demarcation of the D.O. Ribera de Duero that belongs to the González Beteré Family. Founded in 1983, it is characterised by combining the location’s excellent natural conditions with the most modern winemaking techniques. It has a climate, a soil and an altitude (915 metres above sea level) that make it possible to produce powerful and full-bodied wines.

The Tinto Fino, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties belong to a single estate. "La Revilla" has unique natural qualities that make each vintage of Valtravieso VT Vendimia Seleccionada something unique. Which is why the manual harvest is not carried out until the grapes are at their optimum ripeness.

Each of the three varieties is macerated separately. Before carrying out the coupage, the wine is aged separately in new French oak casks. Valtravieso VT Vendimia Seleccionada is then bottled without clarifying or filtering, and remains in the bottle for 8 months before going on the market.

Valtravieso VT Vendimia Seleccionada is a red wine that offers all the character and body of a Ribera de Duero wine, but without renouncing its own style.
