Tremendus Clarete Rosado

Tremendus Clarete Rosado is a rosé wine produced by the winery Honorio Rubio in Cordovín, D.O.Ca. La Rioja.

Honorio Rubio is a small family winery with more than 100 years of winemaking tradition. It is located in Cordovín, a village of Rioja Alta that is famous for its traditional pale rosé wine, clarete.

The winery has 15 hectares of its own vineyards and it manages approximately 50 hectares of the local winegrowing areas. Soils are varied. There are sandstones, clays and the common "cascajos" (gravelly soil), which are between 15 and 50 years old and located at 580-650 metres of altitude.

Honorio Rubio is a dynamic winery. They always have concerns, and are always searching for, trying and creating new oenological projects, with the aim of reaching their wines' excellence.

Tremendus Clarete Rosado is a wine made from Viura and Red Grenache from the youngest vines from all farms. Once they are harvested, they are left in stainless steel deposits at a controlled temperature, where they are also left to age for 6 months on their fine lees.

Tremendus Clarete Rosado is an honest, fresh and elegant wine. Perfect fusion of ripe red fruits of the Grenache and the freshness of the Viura.
