Terre Base Lambrusco di Sorbara is a sparkling wine made by Terre Base with the Lambrusco di Sorbara variety in the DOC Lambrusco di Sorbara, in the Emilia-Romagna region (Italy).
Terre Base is a project run by a group of oenologists, agronomists and winegrowers who work together to extract the maximum expression of the area. To do this, they work a 5-hectare area in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy and make world-famous sparkling wines called Lambrusco.
Terre Base Lambrusco di Sorbara comes from vineyards located on the edge of the Po river, in the province of Modena. This land has loose and silty soils, and it is cultivated using traditional agriculture. In the winery, a base wine is made first and then a second fermentation takes place in special tanks using the charmat method.
Lambrusco the best-selling and most popular Italian wine in the world, and Terre Base Lambrusco di Sorbara is a great example of it. A true Lambrusco with qualified denomination of origin.
