About Terra 00 Vi Roig Per L'Amor de Déu

Terra 00 Vi Roig Per L'Amor de Déu is a natural rosé wine crafted by Terra 00 using the white Grenache and red Grenache grape varieties in the D.O. Terra Alta region of Catalonia.

Under the label Terra 00, the Arrufat family, represented by Josep and Albert, spearheads a venture that prides itself on capturing the quintessence of the terroir, the fruit, and the surrounding environment. This winery, situated in Vilalba dels Arcs at the heart of Terra Alta in southern Catalonia, is committed to minimal intervention and benefits from the consultancy of the esteemed oenologist Pepe Mendoza.

Terra 00 Vi Roig Per L'Amor de Déu originates from vineyards planted on sandy loam soils. The cultivation is organic, with a biodynamic approach, and the vines are free from chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and systemic treatments. Once the grapes are perfectly ripe, they are hand-harvested with selective picking in the vineyard.

In the winery, Terra 00 Vi Roig Per L'Amor de Déu undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks using native yeasts, followed by an 8-month maturation period in amphorae. The wine is then bottled unfiltered and unfined, containing only the naturally occurring sulfites produced during fermentation.

A blend of white and red varieties, Terra 00 Vi Roig Per L'Amor de Déu is a genuine claret that captures a slice of the inland Mediterranean in its purest form.

2020

Terra 00 Clarete Per L'Amor de Déu 2020 is a fruity rosé endowed with an aromatic intensity of red fruit, Mediterranean herbs, and spiced nuances. On the palate, it is succulent, lively, and invigorating. This is an effortlessly enjoyable wine boasting superb acidity and a delightful finish with mineral undertones.

Terra 00 Clarete Per L'Amor de Déu 2019 is a fresh rosé with aromas of lively red fruit, light floral notes and light herbaceous touches. On the palate it is fruity, fresh and full-bodied. An expressive, agile and long wine.
