About Recaredo Enoteca Reserva Particular

Recaredo Enoteca Reserva Particular is a long-aged Brut nature sparkling wine from the collective brand Corpinnat (Catalonia) made by Recaredo with the Macabeo and Xarel-lo varieties.
 
Recaredo is a family winery started by Josep Mata Capellades in 1924 in the historic centre of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia (Barcelona). His sons, Josep and Antoni Mata Casanovas, strengthen the project by setting a genuinely unique, high quality and completely organic style. Defenders of respectful vinification and long ageing, they’re one of the architects of the creation of the collective brand of sparkling wines Corpinnat
 
Recaredo Enoteca Reserva Particular is the result of own vineyards which are worked with the meticulous observation of the vineyard as a starting point to guide its natural processes. No chemical fertilizers are used and all treatments are natural and biodynamic. The harvest is carried out manually in small boxes at the optimum point of ripeness. 
 
In the winery,Recaredo Enoteca Reserva Particular grapes undergo the first fermentation in oak barrels and the second fermentation in the bottle on the lees for 15 years and 5 months in traditional riddlking racks inside the cellar. The disgorging is artisan and no expedition liqueur is added. 
 
Recaredo Enoteca Reserva Particular is physical proof that a good sparkling wine with extreme ageing can also be synonymous with freshness.
 
2004

Recaredo Enoteca Reserva Particular 2004 is a mature sparkling Corpinnat wine which pays tribute to one of the most exceptional vintages of the Penedès. The nose is complex, persistent and full of nuances with aromas of long ageing with a delicious citrus and fruity background. The palate shows a pleasant and delicate entry, the passage is intense with lively and fresh notes and the finish is flavoursome and persistent.
