Characteristics Milan Nestarec Antika Miky-Mauz
Milan Nestarec Antika Miky-Mauz is an orange wine coupage of the Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Traminer and Grüner Veltliner varieties, made by Milan Nestarec in the Moravia region of the Czech Republic.
Milan Nestarec is part of a young generation of winemakers who are revolutionising the wine scene in the Czech Republic. In 2001, Milan's father planted eight hectares of vineyards cultivated without using herbicides and growing the vines according to ecological agriculture. All wines ferment spontaneously and aging takes place in oak and acacia wood barrels.
The Antika Miky-Mauz wine is made in honour of Mickey Mouse, the lifelong hero of Milan Nestarec. The grapes ferment with their native yeasts and in contact with their skins for 10 days and the resulting wine is aged in oak barrels and bottled without filtering or clarifying.
Milan Nestarec works to produce authentic wines under the premise of simplicity and the idea that “less is more”, resulting in surprising and very unique wines.
