Lynch Bordeaux Merlot is an organic red wine made by Michel Lynch with the Merlot variety in Bordeaux (France).
Michel Lynch, winemaker and founder of Château Lynch-Bages, was a man who revolutionised the world of wine in Bordeaux in the late 17th century. He was a shrewd winemaker who knew how to promote winemaking advances like destemming before fermentation. In his honour, Jean-Michel Cazes, the current owner of the Lynch-Bages winery, has produced a range of wines in his name. One of those wines is this certified organic wine, made using completely organic agriculture and environmentally friendly production.
Lynch Bordeaux Merlot is made with some of the best vintages and reflects the diversity and richness of some of the most prestigious terroirs in the world. The vines lie on a beautiful hill in the Graves winemaking sub-region. They are cultivated using organic agriculture (AB certified), and without the use of pesticides, herbicides or any chemicals that could harm the environment. The harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness.
Made with exclusively organically-cultivated Merlot grapes, Lynch Bordeaux Merlot is a sustainable wine. The focus on being environmentally friendly even stretches to using packaging designed to reduce their carbon footprint. This wine has become the first organic wine to appear in all the luxurious Starwood hotels in Europe.
Lynch Bordeaux Merlot is a red wine that perfectly expresses its terroir, which is one of the most prestigious in the world. An organic, elegant and accessible wine that is very easy to drink.
