La Mujer Cañón

La Mujer Cañon is a fresh and elegant Grenache produced by Comando G in Madrid.
Comando G (G for Garnacha) was born from a collaboration of three young oenologists and wine producers with the objective of producing the best Grenache wines from unique plots of old vines that reflect each of their characteristics.
La Mujer Cañon is made from Grenache grapes, grown from old vines between 60 and 70 years old planted in the Sierra de Gredos are (between Ávila and Madrid), an area with fresh humidity at an altitude of 900 metres above sea level. Comando G practices a biodynamic agriculture which absolutely respects the environment.
The grapes are destemmed and macerated at a cold temperature. The fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature and the aging takes place in 500 and 600 litre French oak barrels over 12 months.
Before it is released onto the market, La Mujer Cañon rests in the winery for 8 months.
La Mujer Cañon is a wine with a lot of personality and little colour, little wood and fine tannins that denote elegance.
