La Maldición Malvar de Valdilecha is a white wine made in Vinos de Madrid by Marc Isart. 


This project, by Bernabeleva's winemaking advisor, is located in the subzone of Arganda del Rey in south-east Madrid. An area with a very firm agricultural tradition and lots of old vineyards. 

La Maldición Malvar de Valdilecha is made with the Malvar grape variety, which extends across the region and is very similar to the Palomino Fino. The grapes ferment with their skins and stems for 50 days and are later aged in used oak barrels.

La Maldición Malvar de Valdilecha 2018 is a white wine with delicate citrus aromas, quince notes and hints of dry grass. On the palate it is deep, fresh and juicy. A wine with a glyceric character and a dry, persistent finish.
La Maldición Malvar de Valdilecha 2017 is a creamy, structured and fresh white wine. Once again, this vintage shows all the character of the Malvar, delicate on the nose and juicy in the mouth, with a dry and very long finish.
