Characteristics Kracher Welschriesling
Kracher Welschriesling is a white wine made with the Welschriesling variety in Burgenland by the Kracher Austrian winery.
Located in the prestigious Seewinkel area (in Burgenland), Kracher is an Austrian winery known for making the best dessert wines. To achieve this, the late Alois Kracher and now his son Gerhard have taken advantage of the special microclimate of the Lake Neusiedl plains that is perfect for producing Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese wines. These expertise have been recognised by the best critics in the world, like Robert Parker. This winery also produces dry wines using high-quality native varieties.
Kracher Welschriesling comes from vineyards with a low planting density to achieve a low, but high-quality yield. They use traditional agriculture which benefits from the microclimate on the Lake Neiusiedl plains. The harvest is carried out when the grapes reach optimum ripeness.
When the grapes reach the winery, they are pressed and the must is put into stainless steel tanks. There, Kracher Welschriesling ferments and ages on fine lees for 14 months before bottling.
Kracher Welschriesling is proof that this Austrian family winery makes exceptional white wines.
Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product
Kracher Welschriesling 2017 is an aromatic white wine with hints of exotic fruit, melon and herbaceous notes. On the palate it reveals beautiful fresh fruit and a lively acidity. It has a lingering finish.
