About Domaine des Lises Equinoxe Crozes-Hermitage
Domaine des Lises Equinoxe Crozes-Hermitage is an organic single-variety Syrah red wine produced by Domaine des Lises under the A.O.C. Crozes-Hermitage in the Rhone Valley, France.
Maxime Graillot, who directs Domaine des Lises, has a master's in winemaking, and honed his skills by spending time training in Burgundy and South Africa. He learnt a great deal from Alain Graillot, the man who put Crozes-Hermitage on the map for elegant wines and who also happens to be his father.
Domaine des Lises Equinoxe Crozes-Hermitage comes from grapes grown organically in vineyards located in Pont de L'Isère where gravel soils predominate and no pesticides or herbicides are used. The wine goes through a subtle carbonic maceration and is fermented in concrete tanks and large tapered wooden tanks where it also ages for 12 months.
Domaine des Lises Equinoxe Crozes-Hermitage is a wine that expresses an aroma-filled youth. An easy-drinking Syrah that gets better over time.
2019 | Domaine des Lises Equinoxe Crozes-Hermitage 2017 is a red wine with bursting youth, full of aromas of red and black fruits with a touch of anise. On the palate it is flavoursome and fruity with a soft tannin and a deliciously spicy finish. | |
2018 | Domaine des Lises Equinoxe Crozes-Hermitage 2018 is a red wine with bursting youth, full of aromas of red and black fruits with a touch of anise. On the palate it is flavoursome and fruity with a soft tannin and a deliciously spicy finish. |
