Domaine des Coteaux Blancs Cabernet D'Anjou 2021 is a rosé wine with aromas of fresh red fruit accompanied by herbal notes. The palate is generous, expressive and fresh. A frank, full-on wine with a medium palate and a finish bursting with freshness.
Although more and more women are joining the fascinating world of wine-making every day, they are still far fewer in number compared to men. Which is why discovering Domaine des Coteaux Blancs, a winery run by three women, is quite a milestone. With 20 hectares of vineyards nestled in the heart of the Corniche Angevine (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), in the Loire Valley, each woman is in charge of her own area of activity. Modesty takes care of the technical part, Pauline is responsible for the commercial and communication aspects and Marie-Christine manages all the administration. Based on an environmentally responsible philosophy and an honest and transparent approach, they manage to capture the purest expression of each terroir in their wines.
The Domaine des Coteaux Blancs Cabernet D'Anjou, specifically, is a coupage rosé made from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines are planted in sandy loam soils in which organic farming is carried out, combining ancestral methods with modern techniques. In the winery, the grapes are pressed directly and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Finally, the wine is aged on fine lees for 4 months.
As the fruit of a region boasting breathtaking natural beauty, Domaine des Coteaux Blancs Cabernet D'Anjou is a rosé from the AOC Cabernet d'Anjou produced by women that exudes femininity and good taste.
