single-varietal of Mencía from 70-year-old vines grown in the plot of land that gives the wine its name, situated in San Lorenzo, in the D.O. Bierzo. The harvest is completely manual. Chano Villar 2011 ferments and is aged for 9 months in concrete deposits. Akilia´s wines are produced in total harmony with and with respect for the local flora and fauna , and this shows in the final product. The production of this vintage is limited to 8000 bottles.
