Chamonard Morgon 2016 is a wine that is pleasant and easy to drink, supported by a splendid freshness, with notes of liquorice, vanilla, violet, pepper and sandalwood.
Chamonard Morgon 1997 is a wine that offers lively blackcurrant, something typical in a wine of more than 20 years old. When aerated a little, oxidised iodine appears. Towards the end there are touches of mushrooms. On the palate it displays flavours of plums in vinegar and a touch of green pepper. Later white peach and plum appear. It is elegant and light, with tannins that are already low, but it gains structure when aerated.
