Bodega Emilio Moro is modern and has its own identity. So getting this case with three bottles of one of its star wines, Emilio Moro Vendimia Seleccionada, is a real honour. A red wine made with Tinto Fino selected each year from the best Pago de La Mira plot and aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
Harvest after harvest, Emilio Moro has found his own and precise identity in the production of the traditional reds of Ribera del Duero, with a modern touch. These wines are full of colour, highly expressive, virile and eager to live. They rely on the caste and nobility of the family clone Tinto Fino, the strength of the terroir, the selection of wood and a well-interpreted modern oenology. The younger red wines have a good body, without lacking in flavour and balance. The game between time and wood suggests more complex wines, more penetrating, and at the same time more velvety. This is particularly portrayed in their single-vineyard wines.
