Bott-Geyl Riesling Les Éléments is a monovarietal Riesling white wine from the AOC Alsace produced by Domaine Bott-Geyl.

Domaine Bott-Geyl is a family winery with some two centuries of history. It has practised organic farming since 2000 and biodynamic farming since 2002. It has 14 hectares of vineyards with 4 Grans Crus, the highest quality category of a vineyard in France.

The grapes for Bott-Geyl Riesling Les Éléments come from plots in the Alsatian municipalities of Riquewihr, Zellenberg and Ribeauvillé. It is harvested manually, and in the cellar it ferments in stainless steel tanks. Once vinified, it undergoes an ageing on lees for about 4 to 5 months, also in tanks.

Bott-Geyl Riesling Les Éléments is a complex, floral and fruity wine, with good acidity and a pleasant creaminess. It has an ageing potential of about 10 to 12 years.

Bott-Geyl Riesling Les Éléments 2017 is like a bouquet of flowers on the nose, as well as being spicy and crystalline. On the nose it also reveals aromas of green olives and dried herbs, together with honeyed, creamy and mineral touches. It has a fine acidity in the mouth and notes of citrus on the palate, and is creamy, lingering and well shaped. There are also persistent memories of white fruit and ripe citrus.
