Arnot-Roberts Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a wood-aged red wine made by Arnot-Roberts with the Pinot Noir variety in the AVA Sonoma Coast, in California (USA).
Arnot-Roberts was founded in 2001 by Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts, two childhood friends who joined forces to make quality wines in Northern California. To do this, they collaborate with passionate winegrowers with special vineyards and produce honest and expressive wines with minimal intervention.
Arnot-Roberts Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast comes from vineyards cultivated since 2004. These vines are planted on decomposed shale soils at an altitude of 200 metres above sea level and close to the Pacific Ocean. They are cultivated using environmentally-friendly agriculture and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness.
In the winery, the Arnot-Roberts Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast grapes are vinified with all of the stems. They firstly ferment spontaneously with native yeasts and then the wine ages for 12 months in used French oak barrels.
Arnot-Roberts Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is the perfect red wine to introduce people to the popular Arnot-Roberts wines. A delicate and elegant Californian Pinot Noir made in the most French style.
