Aristos Baron D'a is a wood-aged red wine made by the Aristos winery with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Carmenère varieties in the D.O. Cachapoal, in Central Valley (Chile).
Aristos is the result of a long night where three friends, Louis-Michel, Francois and Pedro Parra, talked about seeking the maximum expression of the terroir and committed to setting up a Burgundy-Chilean wine project. This commitment began in the Vosne Romanee castle in 2003 and they now produce balanced wines that perfectly reflect the Chilean terroir.
Aristos Baron D'a is made from a mixture of grapes of different origins from vineyards in the Cachapoal Valley. This area has high temperatures in summer and a lot of rain in the winter. Once the grapes are harvested, they are selected and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Before being bottled, the wine then ages for 24 months in French oak barrels that are either new, or have been used for one or two wines already.
Aristos Baron D'a is a limited production wine that reveals great structure and depth. A sweet combination of power and elegance.
