Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product

Anne et Jean-François Ganevat Arces Arbois is a biodynamic wine, aged on lees and made with the Chardonnay variety by the Anne et Jean-François Ganevat winery in the AOC Arbois in Jura, France.

Anne et Jean François Ganevat Arces Arbois is a reinvention of years of tradition. This wine, which starts life in La Combe de Rotalier, south of Jura, between Mâcon and Arbois, is a culmination of more than four centuries of history. The project is now run by the fourteenth generation of the family, Anne and Jean-François Ganevat. They grow more than 17 local varieties across 9 hectares of marl and limestone terroir. They are known for their fully biodynamic work (certified since 2014), based on the use of natural preparations and remedies in the vineyard, made from nettle and horsetail infusions.

This natural and uninhibited character is also carried into the winery, where the Anne et Jean-François Ganevat Arces Arbois grapes are manually destemmed and fermented using only native yeasts. This results in a white wine made through slow fermentation (in large capacity tanks), which spends two years on its lees in oak wood barrels and is neither filtered nor clarified.

With these things in mind, Anne et Jean-François Ganevat Arces Arbois is synonymous with elegance and delicacy and with free, unique and delicate wines, the result of meticulous work by two siblings.
