Abreu Vineyards Cappella 2015 is a concentrated red wine with complex aromas of blackberries, chocolate, graphite and notes of undergrowth. On the palate it is rich, powerful and full. A very well structured wine with enormous amounts of fruit and glycerin. The tannins are silky and ripe and the acidity is well integrated. Developing extremely well in the bottle for 30-50 years, this wine borders on perfection.
Abreu Vineyards Cappella 2014 is a concentrated red wine with aromas of fruit compote with blueberries, plums and blackberries and exotic spicy notes of star anise, cardamom and cassia as well as hints of tobacco. On the palate it is full-bodied, firm and grainy. A flavoursome wine with a heavy beginning and plenty of spicy touches. The finish is long and lingering and this wine will develop well in the bottle for 25-30 years.
Abreu Vineyards Cappella 2013 is a limited production, concentrated red wine. With only 206 boxes, this is a small cuvée with sweet espresso notes, hints of blackberries, strong fragrances of white chocolate and exotic spicy touches. On the palate it is powerful, corpulent and full. It reveals silky and fine tannins and a very flavoursome mid-palate. It has a lingering and persistent finish.
