The first vineyard with the DO Monsant

 Vinyes Domènech is the project of a family with roots, but without a winemaking tradition. The family’s only relationship with the world of wine and viticulture used to be that, before 2002, its family came from Falset. Joan Ignaci and his wife, Rita, started their project, their dream, in Capçanes, in the south of Priorat, in the middle of the mountains where Grenache was the main variety. They decided to produce quality wines, adjusting their work to what the soil, the vines and the climate dictated, with minimal intervention, without using herbicides or chemical products, and following biodynamic principles.
