Finca Egomei, family winery owned by the group A & B and makes their wines under the Appellation Rioja, recently presented its wines in the market: Egomei 2006 Egomei Alma 2005, both made from a vintage hand and fermented in French oak barrels. Both Alma Egomei come Egomei as supported by numerous awards and high scores obtained by the prestigious magazine Wine Advocate 90 points for Egomei and 93 to Egomei Alma.
Egomei 2006 is a red wine made from the tempranillo (85%) and Graciano (15%) that has fermented for 14 months in new French oak barrels and has subsequently rested for 6 months in bottle. A wine of intense cherry and mineral aromas with hints of candied black fruits and notes. In the mouth it is tasty with ripe tannins, good balance between fruit and excellent varietal new French oak which gives finesse and elegance. Egomei 2006 was one of the winners of the competition recognized in `Golden Tempranillo Tempranillo the World 2008 ', also awarded the silver medal at Decanter World Wine Awards 2009 and the gold medal at Japan Wine Challenge 2009.
