Characteristics of Viñas del Vero Pinot Noir
Serve at 15ºC

SightIntense cherry colour with scarlet edges. Clean and bright wine with abundant thin tears.NoseOn first nosing, lots of very fresh notes of red fruit are felt along with subtle and elegant floral aromas. When it opens up, delicate touches of toffee, cocoa, nice toasted and creamy notes are also felt.TasteGood attack and a gentle, tasty and very fresh mid palate. The notes of fruit and the toasted arômas provided by good wood are well integrated. Its tannins are sweet and its finish is long and persistent.
A good example of the adaptation of this variety to the region.
SightAn elegant ruby color. NoseRed fruits like cherries, raspberries, strawberries ... almost always freshly harvested. Its passage through the woods he has contributed some very nice tones of caramels, roasted and mocha, which complement the fresh fruit, creating a sensation of gourmet pastries. TasteThe freshness of the wine is also very present in the mouth. This wine is very elegant and different.
Today, the wines of the DO Somontano are characterised by their modernity, elegance and varietal personality. Just like Alsace, Chile, Australia and California, the DO Somontano is able to boast a tempting variety of truly international style white, rosé and red wines. The majority of wines produced in this region are single variety wines, using both native and international grape varieties, produced using varying winemaking techniques. As well as maintaining a high quality of wines, the Somontano region has managed to maintain fair prices in comparison to the competition, despite heavy economic investments by the wineries. Great quality and fair prices have helped wines from the region conquer much of the domestic market and openly compete with international markets.
