The grape Tinta del País originates from vines from the winery´s vineyards that are between 17 to 30 years old. The parcels of land are located up at 800 to 840 meters above sea level in the towns of Horra and Roa in the province of Burgos.
The cultivation and harvest of the Viña Sastre Rosado is realised in an artisanal manner, without adding any artificial substance.
Viña Sastre is one the most important family run wineries of the whole Spanish winemaking panorama. It was founded in 1992, but its tradition dates back to the 1950´s.
