Characteristics of Viña Albina Semidulce Cosecha
Viña Albina Semidulce Cosecha is a white wine from La Rioja produced by Bodegas Riojanas. This wine is a blend of Viura (90%) and Malvasia de Rioja (10%).
Viña Albina Semidulce Cosecha comes from the historic town of Cenicero, in the heart of La Rioja. Vines are more than 42 years old. The harvest is done manually and clusters are transported to the winery in trailers with a maximum of 3,000 kilos.
After a few hours of soaking the grapes, they are pressed without any pressure. The fermentation is carried out in a controlled manner at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. After this process, Viña Albina Semidulce Cosecha rests with yeast.
Bodegas Riojanas, founded in 1890, is one of the most historic of La Rioja. Today it has several wineries in different designations of origin in Spanish territory.
