Victoria Nº2 is a sweet wine from D.O Málaga produced by the well know Andalusian winery Jorge Ordoñez, a specialist in this type of wine. This is a monovarietal of Moscatel de Alejandría.
The grapes for Victoria Nº2 originate from 50 year old vines that grow at an altitude of 700 meters in the town of Almáchar, in Málaga.
The harvest is completed by hand half way through August when the grapes over ripened. The grape bunches are chosen one by one in order to produce the best quality wine.
After this process selection, the grapes of Moscatel de Alejandría rest in the sun for 2 months, so that they obtain the best possible sugar concentration levels.
The fermentation process is carried out in stainless steel containers, which is stopped because of a drop in temperature when the alcohol levels are correct.
