Vednta d’Aubert Blanco is a white wine from the Bajo Aragón region produced by the Venta d’Aubert winery. This wine is a blend of 3 different wine varieties: Chardonnay (52%), Viognier (41%) and Garnacha Blanca (7%).
The harvest is a carried out in 2 phases. In the first phase some of the Chardonnay grapes are harvested in order to obtain the freshness and acidity of this variety. In the 2nd phase, the remaining Chardonnay grapes, the Garnacha Blanca grapes and Viognier graoes are harvested at their point of optimal ripeness.
The three varieties of grape are all processed independently. After all undergoing alcoholic fermentation, the Chardonnay and Garnacha Blanca is aged in new French oak barrels for nine months. The Viognier variety, however, rests in stainless steel tanks in order to maintain its freshness.
Finally, Venta d'Aubert Blanco is blended and the wine is bottled. Just over 3,000 units are produced.
The Venta d’Aubert winery was founded in 1986. After a new facility was built in 1995, the expantion of the site ended in 2001.
