Characteristics of Val Frison Frison Cuvée Goustan Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature

Val Frison Frison Cuvée Goustan Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature is a biodynamic champagne made with the Pinot Noir variety by Valéria Frison in Champagne.

Val Frison Frison Cuvée Goustan Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature is a small winery located in Cote des Bar, a sub-region in southern Champagne that has always been considered inferior in the denomination. In this area, where the Pinot Noir variety is king, a group of young winemakers are making changes to their elaborations through maximum respect for the vineyard. Within this movement, Valerie Frisón stands out, an oenologist who started producing with her husband in 2007 when they took on 6 hectares of land in the town of Ville-sur-Arce. She works respectfully and seeks to express the land’s typicity, working according to the age of the strain and the characteristics of each vintage.

Val Frison Frison Cuvée Goustan Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature comes from several plots in southern Champagne with Kimmeridgian and Portlandian soils. Bio-certified since 2003, they have now gone one step further by working according to biodynamic principles. The harvest is carried out manually at the optimum moment of ripeness.

Val Frison Frison Cuvée Goustan Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature undergoes alcoholic fermentation naturally with native yeasts in used French oak barrels and malolactic fermentation is spontaneous. It then ages in barrels on lees for 6 months and in the bottle for 19 months. It is not filtered or clarified and there is no dosage. No more than 23 mg / l of SO2 is used.

Val Frison Frison Cuvée Goustan Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature is a very special champagne that reveals the radiance of the new Cote des Bar, where the wines are defined by purity, nature and a plenty of energy.
