Tres al Cuadrado is a red wine from Ribera del Queiles prepared by Winery Arts, a warehouse belonging to the Vintae group. This wine is a blend of Grenache, Merlot and Tempranillo.
The climate in Ribera del Queiles is highly variable depending on the season. The winters are very cold with severe frosts, while summers are warm, with mild temperatures at night.
Tres al Cuadrado grapes come from a selection of low yielding old vines located
slopes at the foot of Moncayo, Aragon, where the Queiles River passes through Navarra. Harvesting takes place between September and October. This is done manually and grains are transported in boxes of 15 kilos, so they do not break before reaching the cellar where the selection process occurs.
The wort is fermented and macerated at a temperature of 28 degrees for about a month in vats of 15,000 kilos of capacity.
Subsequently, a process of malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels of fine-grained woods.
Battonages are performed weekly and each barrel is monitored.
The wine is aged for 14 months in barrels of French and American oak before being bottled and marketed.
Tres al Cuadrado is part of the Number nine collection. The number 9 represents the agenda for different cultures: corporeality, intellectuality and spirituality.
This wine has 3 levels: the physical world, the real and material. The sublimity of the natural elements.
