Characteristics of Torremorón Tinto Joven
Torremorón Tinto Joven is a red wine from the D.O Ribera del Duero produced by Bodegas Torremorón. This is a monovarietal from the grape Tinto Fino.
The majority of the vineyard is located on the north edge of the river Duero, at an impressive 800m above sea level. The vines are aged between 30-60 years of age.
The vines are cultivated according to traditional methods. The harvest is completed by hand with the objective to respective all the grape's qualities.
Torremorón Tinto Joven, after a diverse production process, the wine is bottles without any ageing process. This is a young wine which brings together the characteristics of the Ribera del Duero.
In 1957, 57 viticulturist decided to found Bodegas Torremorón. A cooperative continued growing and the number of partners kept increasing. In 1990, a large reform improved the winery, providing it with the best technology to carry on producing products with the same high quality.
