Tomás Postigo Verdejo Fermentado en Barrica is a single variety Verdejo, the reigning variety in D.O. Rueda. The grapes grow on an estate located in Villanueva de Duero, planted at an altitude of 750 metres in the small town of Serrada, in the province of Valladolid.
There is a maceration with its skins before the fermentation which takes place in new French oak barrels.
Tomás Postigo Verdejo Fermentado en Barrica undergoes an aging for 7 months in new French oak barrels, experiencing Battonage periods.
