Characteristics of Tomás González Roble
Tomás González Roble is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by the Altos del Enebro winery. It is a single-variety Tinta del País, to which a small quantity of Garnacha is also added.
The grapes come from the winery's own vines located in the towns of Pardilla and Horra. These vineyards are between 10 and 20 years old. After being harvested, the grapes are left to macerate for 17 days.
Tomás González Roble ages for six months in 225 litre French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels. After stabilisation using natural methods, the wine is bottled and sold.
