Don Julio is a tequila made from the Agave Tequilana Weber variety grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The business was founded by Don Julio González, who began to consider making his own Tequila in 1942. He founded his distillery called Lam Primavera and spent almost forty years perfectly the tequila to make it the spirit that now bears his name.
Tequila Don Julio Añejo has been aged in American white oak barrels for eighteen months in small quantities. This tequila is a testament to the craftsmanship of making an aged tequila with a superior taste. Best experienced neat in a snifter or simply on the rocks.
