Sparkling wine Estremadura made with the grape variety Parellada
It is cultivated in the highlands of Catalonia. This is a good grape production and quality, but also very thin and difficult to care for, susceptible to diseases and drought. Has clusters of medium to large, compact. Its berries are medium and yellow-green. The wines produced from this grape, are of little strength, delicate aromas of pale little body. It is one of the basic grapes for the production of cava, along with Macabeo and xarel-lo. Also known as: Martorella, Masi, montonega, montonero and montonet.
