Bodegas Torres is a family business that was founded in 1870 by Jaime and Miguel Torres Vendrell, and that has had several generations dedicated to the production of wine and brandy in Penedés. Currently, Bodegas Torres produces wines in many wine regions of the world. In Spain, it has 4 wineries of its own, in 4 other denominations of origin, Penedés, Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Priorat.
Bodegas Torres currently has an excellent international standing, and it exports to more than 140 countries around the world.
Sons de Pradesis a wine made with Chardonnay from the vineyard Milmanda. It is located at the foot of the mountain range Serra de Prades, at around 500 metres of altitude on clayey-calcareous soils.
After the manual harvest, 50% of the grapes ferment in stainless steel deposits and the other 50%, in French oak barrels. 45% goes through the malolactic fermentation. It is aged for 6 months in new French oak barrels made of fine grain wood.
