Characteristics of Solà Classic
Solà Classic is a Priorat red wine produced by the Solà Classic winery.
Solà Classic is a family winery that combines tradition and innovation, offering a small but great selection of young red wines and vintages, and relatively recently, a white. Solà Classic is made from a blend of Grenache (57%) and Carignan (43%). The grapes come from the farm Mas Hereu, which was founded in 1777, and has over 30 acres, six of which are used for growing native varieties: Grenache and Carignan. For the preparation of this red, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 25 ° C. Subsequently, it is macerated for 20 to 30 days. Finally, the wine is aged in the bottle for 18 months.
